The Fire Puck is a matchless firestarter made in the USA with 65% organic fuel. Start camp fires, wood stoves and Bar-B-que briquets. Take hunting, fishing, backpacking and all other ourdoor activities. Will start easily and burn in wind and rain. Burns completely to ash in about 3 minutes at 1400 degrees Fahrenheit and no toxic fumes. How does the Fire Puck Matchless Starter work? The Fire puck is a fuel cell with a blend of solid inorgainc and organic fuels that are ignited by an embedded first fire button that is in the center surface of the Fire Puck, when using the product provided striker strip, (much as the same way book matches are ignited) the striker strip is drawn across the first fire Button causing a chemical reaction that ignites the First Fire Button, the First Fire Button when ignited, provides the very high temperature that is required to ignite the fuel cell, which is the body of the Fire Puck Matchless Fire Starter. The Fire Puck is not considered corrosive, as the minute amount of contained iron oxide is neutralized during the manufacturing process. The fire Puck fuel cell has been in development since 2005.
